Privacy policy

What we collect

Account details: your name, email address, and, if you choose to add them, phone number and country. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name and email address with us.

Rights information: details needed to identify your works and register them with collection societies, such as your IPI number, performing rights organization (PRO), and songwriter role.

Music catalog data: when you search for an artist, we look up publicly available music metadata (releases, recording codes, listening statistics) from music industry data providers. This is data about your music, not about you as a person.

Payout details: if you add a payout email (such as a PayPal address), we store it to be able to pay you. We do not collect or store card numbers or bank credentials.

Collected automatically: like most websites, our hosting provider logs technical data such as your IP address and browser type. We also use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to count visits, pages viewed, referral sources, and visitor countries. This data is aggregated and does not identify you as an individual.

How we use it

We use your information for one purpose: finding royalties owed to you and, with your explicit authorization, registering your works with collection societies such as The MLC so those royalties can be collected and paid out to you. We also use your email address to sign you in (via one-time sign-in links) and to keep you informed about your account and claims.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only what the service requires: work registrations are submitted to the relevant collection societies (for example The MLC in the United States) on your behalf. Our technical providers process data for us: Supabase (database and sign-in, hosted in the United States), Vercel (website hosting), Resend (email delivery), and music industry data providers used for catalog lookups.

Cookies and local storage

We use browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember your progress and preferences. Our analytics is cookieless. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, which is why you see no cookie consent banner on this site.

Storage and security

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and is stored with our providers in the United States. We keep it for as long as your account exists, or as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for. If you delete your account, we delete the data tied to it unless the law requires us to keep something longer.

Your rights

You can see and edit your information on your profile page at any time. You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and everything tied to it. Email us and we will do it. If you live in the EEA, or in a US state with its own privacy law (such as California), these rights are also yours by law, and you may additionally complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Our services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information about them.
